Job DescriptionTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Buyer Indirect located in Guadalajara, Toluquilla offices. Reporting to the Commodity Manager, Indirect the Buyer Indirect is responsible for managing purchasing activities and supporting procurement requirements for multiple sites. This role focuses on supplier management, sourcing, negotiations, cost optimization, and ensuring the timely acquisition of indirect purchasing;
facilities and services, while complying with company policies and procedures.
What a typical day looks like:
- Manage and follow up on procurement requirements from multiple sites, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct supplier negotiations to achieve optimal commercial agreements, including lead times, pricing, payment terms, and supply conditions.
- Analyze quotations, compare proposals, and recommend the best sourcing options based on cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
- Prepare reports and procurement analyses using Excel tools, including pivot tables and data analysis.
- Provide support and excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.
- Execute tactical purchasing decisions and support corporate sourcing initiatives.
- Manage sourcing events, RFQs, supplier bidding processes, and contract negotiations within approved authority levels.
- Conduct quarterly supplier performance reviews and support supplier development activities.
- Maintain procurement records, purchasing metrics, and reporting requirements.
- Estimate market values and identify cost-saving opportunities through market analysis.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal customers to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor's degree in related fields.
- 1+ years of experience in similar role.
- Advanced English (spoken and written).
- Experience in supplier development, contract negotiation, purchase order management, and procurement processes.
- Experience using ERP systems.
- Proactive attitude with strong customer service orientation.
- Problem solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time.
- Project management basic knowledge would be a plus
