Job Details Essential Responsibilities
- Create, update, and release production orders.
- Create and maintain capacity reservations to support production requirements.
- Analyze production capacity needs and coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure on‑time delivery performance.
- Review and release purchase requisitions within SAP.
- Develop detailed production schedules and coordinate the availability of required materials, components, and production aids.
- Identify scheduling and planning conflicts and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
- Manage and communicate delivery delays, coordinating updates with Sales and customers as needed.
- Review production orders to ensure completeness, accuracy, and readiness for execution.
- Prepare, maintain, and archive production‑related documentation.
- Maintain and update planning‑related master data to support accurate scheduling and reporting.
- Provide backup support for planning and administrative functions as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP or similar platforms; experience with MRP is essential.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills; ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast‑paced, customer‑driven environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast‑paced setting.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across departments and support operations management initiatives.
- Language:
English required;
German language skills are a plus. - APICS/ASCM CPIM or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Ability to travel periodically for group meetings or training.
The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds regularly and 20 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands or fingers to handle, feel, reach, and grasp.
The employee is occasionally required to balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
