Data Center Team Lead – Kitting B Shift (Mon‑Fri, 2:00 – 10:30 PM)

Job Summary:
Responsible for providing and maintaining effective material orders, customer service, inventory management and various customer material movement requests. Lead the assembly, installation, and maintenance of servers and associated electronic components within the datacenter.
- Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight, including management of shipping documents and records.
- Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight to ensure accurate part numbers and quantities, and that materials are in pristine condition.
- Execute daily inventory cycle counts and place replenishment orders for critical spare parts on site.
- Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems.
- Oversee placement of server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with 100 % accuracy.
- Populate and install electronic components and cabling into server racks following published diagrams and schematics.
- Install rack hardware with hand, power, and measuring tools.
- Operate material‑handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks.
- Perform and supervise cleanup activities to maintain safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards.
- Push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday.
- Daily adherence to safety and process procedures.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Attention to detail and focus on quality.
- Flexibility and cross‑training across multiple departments within the datacenter.
- Effective delegation and coaching skills.
- 3–5 years of related experience in a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
- Critical‑thinking and analytical abilities for confident decision‑making.
- Computer proficiency.
- Knowledge of electrical safety and static‑discharge protocols for working with live equipment.
- Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Capability to pass federal, state, local, airport, or company‑required background checks, clearances, and drug/alcohol tests.
Expected base pay range: $27 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location.
