Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to advance our mission of providing global humanitarian aid. This role focuses on optimizing the end-to-end supply chain processes to ensure efficient and effective deployment of resources in support of MCC's relief and development projects. The Supply Chain Manager will steward supply chain initiatives, from procurement to distribution, aligned with MCC's commitment to sustainability and ethical practices.
This post involves close collaboration with multiple stakeholders to enhance our logistic capabilities, streamline operations, and contribute to our global outreach programs. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mind and be capable of handling detailed, complex operations while maintaining a humanitarian focus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic procurement strategies.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.
- Oversee logistics operations including storage and distribution of supplies.
- Ensure compliance with local and international supply chain regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers to forecast needs and schedule deliveries.
- Implement sustainable supply chain practices.
- Analyze supply chain systems for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
