Childcare Custodian

Overview

All Around Children is currently accepting applications for a Custodian to join our growing team at our Gold (SUTQ), NAC-accredited childcare and preschool center in Middlefield, Ohio. Base pay range is $13.00/hr - $16.00/hr depending on experience and credentials.

All Around Children is a family-owned and operated childcare business with a passion for working with young children. We have 8 state-of-the-art learning centers in NE Ohio, offering a creative and caring environment with opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment.

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, classrooms, and other common areas
• Complete routine trash removal
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering and receiving of cleaning supplies
• Maintain positive relationships with children, staff and parents, and communicate effectively with all members of the team
• Attend and participate in professional development and training sessions as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Experience in facilities maintenance is a plus
• Must be able to work evening hours

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, and bend for long periods of time
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in a moderate to noisy environment
