Monday‑Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (potentially flexible).
$16.00 – $18.00 per hour, based on skills and experience.
SummaryIn line with the mission and values of the Village of St. Edward, the Floor Care Worker performs all types of floor care—stripping, waxing, and refinishing—and fills in for the Laundry and Housekeeping Departments as needed. The role requires working independently with little supervision while maintaining a kind and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities- Perform all types of floor care including stripping, waxing, and refinishing.
- Assist in laundry and housekeeping tasks when required.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs independently and over 50 lbs with assistance.
- Possess dexterity for operating levers, buttons, and machinery.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach at different angles.
- May stand on feet for long periods of time.
