Location: Brookville
Maintenance Assistant for our Skilled Nursing Facility needed. Full time days! BASIC PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To assist in the maintenance of the interior and exterior of the building to assure that the physical facility and grounds is safe.
CUSTOMERS/CLIENTS SERVED BY POSITIONftart, SBSL.Residents, families and other department managers and staff.
OUTCOMES WHEN JOB IS DONE WELLResidents and families are assured of a safe, clean, comfortable environment that meets or exceeds State and Federal regulatory standards and requirements.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:High school degree or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:At least 18 years of age with the ability to grasp and complete related maintenance functions. Basic knowledge is heating, plumbing, mechanical and electrical.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:Ability to stand, bend, squat, climb, walk, reach, see, hear, smell, sit and pulmonar.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:- Assist with fire drills
- Assist with electrical breakers and fuses.
- Repair and paint walls as needed.
- Assist with grass cutting and outside grounds work.
- Assist with plumbing issues as they arise.
- Assist with the repair of resident articles and general maintenance issues.
- Assist with the replacement of light bulbs throughout the facility as needed.
- Performs any other duties and/or functions as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- On call every 4th week or as scheduled – subject to change.
