Laborer - ATS

Amsterdam Transfer Station, OH $20.33 per hour Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Looking for a hands-on job with steady hours and growth opportunities? Interstate Waste Services (IWS) is hiring a Laborer for our Amsterdam Transfer Station. If you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a team that keeps communities clean and running, we want to hear from you.

• Perform general labor duties including shoveling, lifting, pulling, and site cleanup
• Direct trucks and equipment safely throughout the facility
• Set up traffic control signs, cones, and barriers
• Communicate with drivers and team members using radios
• Fuel and clean vehicles and equipment
• Assist with securing landfill coverings and wind fencing
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE

• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 50+ pounds
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• General labor, construction, landscaping, or outdoor work experience preferred
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Equipment operation experience is a plus
• Ability to communicate in English
