Position Overview:

The Seasonal Service Technician supports the upkeep and appearance of the neighborhood by performing routine grounds maintenance tasks as assigned. This role assists the Service Technician with daily operational responsibilities, including snow removal and maintaining the grounds. The position requires strict adherence to all safety standards and procedures while completing tasks efficiently and professionally.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform snow removal and ice control activities, including shoveling, salting, and operating snow removal equipment to maintain safe conditions throughout the neighborhood.
• Assist with grounds maintenance duties, including debris removal, sidewalk and common area cleanup, and general property upkeep and watering of plants as needed.
• Support Service Technicians with basic maintenance tasks, material handling, unit preparation, and work order completion as directed.
• Monitor property conditions and report safety concerns, maintenance issues, or hazardous conditions promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance shops, storage areas, and equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally and courteously with residents, guests, and team members.
• Follow safety standards at all times.
• Duties may vary based on the season.
• All other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license required.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop.
• Must be able to work at heights such as using a ladder or step stool and climbing stairs as needed.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces as needed.
• Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver items up to20 pounds independently and occasionally heavier items with assistance.
• Requires manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment, including repetitive hand/wrist motions.

Attendance and Scheduling:

• Job is performed in-office or onsite at a Redwood Neighborhood(s).
• Punctuality and consistent attendance are essential for success in this role, and employees must adhere to set start times and assigned schedules.
• Must have dependable transportation to travel between Redwood Neighborhoods and respond to emergency maintenance requests.
• Work is performed in outdoor environments, with regular exposure to heat, cold, rain, snow, and damp conditions.
• May occasionally be exposed to low-level noise from power tools and equipment.
