Edgewood Manor Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Port Clinton, OH, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Director to join our leadership team!

• Oversee the daily maintenance operations of the facility, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment.

• Perform and coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the building.

• Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including Life Safety Code requirements.

• Conduct routine inspections and proactively identify areas needing attention.

• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for repairs and specialized services.

• Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs.

• Assist with emergency preparedness, fire safety procedures, and regulatory survey readiness.

• Work collaboratively with facility leadership and department heads to support daily operations.

• Respond promptly to maintenance concerns while prioritizing resident safety and comfort.

• Previous maintenance experience in healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care is strongly preferred.

• Prior experience in a maintenance leadership or supervisory role preferred.

• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.

• Familiarity with Life Safety Code, OSHA standards, and healthcare regulatory requirements is a plus.

• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and take initiative.

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork.

• Ability to respond to occasional maintenance emergencies outside regular business hours as needed.
