Novaris Search is working with a well-established specialty chemicals distributor experiencing significant international growth, most recently through strategic acquisitions in LATAM and Southeast Asia. As their team in the DACH region has grown threefold in recent years, they seek a dynamic leader to drive further expansion and success.
Position Summary
As Head of Sales for the DACH region, you will lead a team of six, managing select critical personal care accounts and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll be responsible for setting and executing strategy, expanding market share, and meeting – or exceeding – growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Team Leadership: Manage, motivate, and develop the regional sales team, ensuring alignment and driving long-term growth.
- Sales Performance: Achieve and surpass sales and profit targets; develop and deliver quarterly and annual sales budgets.
- Account Management: Manage a handful of critical accounts, driving growth.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee supplier relationships and the product portfolio, identifying gaps and collaborating on the acquisition of new suppliers.
Candidate Requirements:
- At least 10 years of sales experience within personal care ingredients
- Critical thinking and strong communication skills
- Ideally distribution experience
- Ideally Technical education
