About the Opportunity
A well-established, global manufacturer within the commercial equipment industry is seeking a Vice President of Finance to join its senior leadership team. The organization serves a broad customer base across hospitality, healthcare, retail, education, and other commercial sectors, delivering innovative and high-quality solutions worldwide.
Reporting directly to the President, the VP of Finance will play a pivotal role in driving strategic and financial performance. This executive will partner closely with leadership to shape business initiatives, oversee financial operations, and lead human resources functions to support continued growth and operational excellence.
Finance Leadership- Serve as the primary liaison to corporate leadership, ensuring compliance with company-wide directives and reporting requirements.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Deliver accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant financial statements and reporting packages.
- Partner with corporate tax teams on federal, state, and local tax compliance.
- Provide detailed sales reporting and performance analytics to internal stakeholders and corporate partners.
- Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls across all financial processes.
- Oversee treasury functions, including banking relationships, wires, and payment approvals.
- Supervise payroll and timekeeping processes.
- Manage capital expenditures and maintain fixed asset and property records.
- Serve as a trusted resource and advocate for employees and leadership.
- Oversee recruiting, hiring, and onboarding processes.
- Lead benefits administration, including vendor management and open enrollment.
- Maintain employee handbook, policies, and job descriptions.
- Manage performance evaluation and compensation structures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting and record retention requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field required;
Master’s degree preferred. - Active CPA designation preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial management within a manufacturing or product-based environment.
- ERP system experience required; familiarity with mid-market systems preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive management and leadership experience.
