Remote People has been exclusively commissioned to identify a Senior Distribution Sales Manager for a global powerhouse in the semiconductor industry. Our client is a world leader in high-performance Flash memory and ARM® Cortex® microcontrollers (MCUs).
This is a pivotal first hire for this function in the EMEA region. Reporting directly to the General Manager of EMEA, you will have the unique opportunity to define the distribution architecture and eventually build out your own team as the function scales.
The MandateYou will be the strategic architect of the distribution channel across EMEA. Your mission is to move beyond simple account management and into high-level channel optimization, ensuring that the company’s innovative technology reaches European Tier 1 manufacturers through a world-class distributor network.
Key Responsibilities- Regional Strategy: Define and execute a European distribution strategy aligned with aggressive growth objectives.
- Network Optimization: Continuously assess and refine the distribution network to improve coverage and channel value.
- Partner Leadership: Develop trust-based relationships with EMEA and global distribution partners, driving accountability through regular business reviews and joint planning.
- Design Funnel Management: Track and manage global design registration activity via CRM, ensuring high-impact customer opportunities are converted into wins.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align with Sales, FAE, and Marketing teams to accelerate demand creation and technical engagement.
- Semiconductor DNA: 10+ years of experience in the semiconductor sales ecosystem with a solid analytical background.
- Technology Mastery: A deep understanding of MCU and Memory technologies is essential.
- Strategic & Hands-on: A track record in distribution sales combined with strategic thinking and a problem-solving attitude.
- Communication: Excellent English (mandatory) and German (highly preferred) verbal and written communication skills.
- Academic Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Cultural Fit: Experience working with Asian companies is a significant plus.
