Ohio University is hiring a Senior Director of Development
- Major Giving
- College of Business. This role leads major gift fundraising efforts by identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors, while collaborating with university leadership and advancement teams to align development strategies with institutional goals.

• Lead major gift fundraising initiatives for assigned colleges or units within Ohio University.
• Develop and implement strategic development plans and manage a portfolio of major donor prospects.
• Coordinate donor stewardship and organize key fundraising events to foster alumni and donor engagement.
• Collaborate with internal teams including Gift Planning, Annual Giving, and Corporate/Foundation Relations.
• Act as a strategic advisor between academic leadership and potential donors, aligning development priorities with university goals.

• Requires a Bachelor s degree and at least 10 years of professional experience in related fields.
• Requires self-direction, problem-solving skills, and extensive communication and collaboration capabilities.

• Expected pay range from $80,593 to $138,208, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid holidays, sick leave, vacation, and retirement.
• Position involves limited supervisory responsibilities and fiscal management of budgets.
• Standard full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with travel for meetings and events as needed.
