Operations Manager
Position Summary:
The Operations Manager leads safe, reliable, and compliant operations for the Seneca plant assets. The role will focus on effective operations and serve as the point of contact for centralized support services. This position is also responsible for managing the area budget, overseeing emergency preparedness activities, and ensuring accurate compliance reporting across all operational areas.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a culture of safe, compliant, reliable, and cost‑efficient operations.
- Enable Operational Excellence by driving Operational Discipline. Champion sound operational practices, including adherence to site and corporate operational policies, and effective procedure management and use while ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations.
- Develop and sustain a culture of high performance and accountability by setting expectations, organizing, planning, and leading team activities. Identify and pursue opportunities for personal and team development to meet business and career objectives.
- Drive production‑centered Operations by ensuring successful implementation of production plan through planning, communication, and management of Area resources. Develop and utilize operational reports and metrics to make plan adjustments when appropriate.
- Serve as main point of contact for internal resources such as HES&S, Integrity/Reliability and Business Development as well as key external stakeholders such as Producer customers, local officials, and critical vendors/contractors.
- Establish and communicate clear expectations for organizational behavior and manage performance of team members through coaching, mentoring and constructive feedback.
- Oversee Opex and maintenance capital budget development, ensure grant of authority policy compliance and track budget performance versus forecast. Forecast outage requirements/impacts and outage performance against plan.
- Support growth by establishing a proper design basis for capital projects, driving cross‑functional participation in hazard/design reviews, and ensuring rigorous functional checkout and commissioning of equipment prior to startup.
- Coordinate, direct, and document Emergency Preparedness and Response activities, drills, and training. Serve as Incident Commander and/or other Command Staff role as appropriate during an emergency response.
- Serve as Responsible Official for all compliance reporting within area of responsibility.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required;
Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Three (3) years leadership experience preferred.
- Three (3) years oil and gas industry experience required; midstream preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
