Job Duties:

Assists in program direction by relieving DD Program Director of non-routine, administrative duties. Acts for the DD Program Director in the management and supervision of the residential Department and the employees by establishing standards and procedures for assigned staff:
Formulates and implement policy and procedures for Residential Department (for example, timekeeping, leave without pay, tardiness, sick leave, absenteeism, holidays, overtime) review and updated as necessary. Develops, implement, posts and updates working schedules assignments for all TPWs and RCS1s in a 24-hour 7 day per week operation. Authorize extra hours and overtime hours for these positions to maintain a safe, secure working/living setting: implement the vacation selection and assignment processes for all TPWs and RCS1s.

Schedules TPWs to provide on-campus day program services, off-campus errand services. Supervises staff (i.e., approves/disapproves request leaves; counsels' employees as necessary; complete performance evaluations); conducts staff meetings; serves as liaison between residential staff and other departments; represents and acts for DD Program Director ves as liaison between supervisor and departmental staff by providing direction through written and verbal communication and transmitting verbal and written directions and decisions to ensure residential operates as efficiently as possible.

Interviews and trains new residential staff; provides orientation to all new employees regarding schedules, residential policies and procedures. Monitor the LOA process for TPWs and RCS1s, taking needed steps to initiate staff disability separation actions when warranted. Assists cottage RCS and QIDP staff to manage and reduce patterns of absenteeism and/or injury among TPW staff. In-service staff on policies and procedures.

Inventories and orders supplies for department.
