Industrial mechanic

As an industrial mechanic, you will manufacture components and assemblies for machines and production facilities and install or rebuild them. You will monitor and optimize manufacturing processes and perform maintenance and repair tasks.

• You will coordinate the work with upstream and downstream units within the company, and with the customer
• You will learn methods for interpreting and/or preparing technical documents such as technical drawings and 3D models with the help of CAD software
• You will enter machining parameters into CNC machines, retrieve them or transfer them via interfaces from CAD systems
• You will also be responsible for mounting prefabricated assemblies and housing components onto machines, plant sections and technical systems
• You will learn how to commission machines and systems, to perform final inspections and functional checks and to document test results
• Your area of responsibility will also includes laying hydraulic and electric lines and integrating software components
• You will independently maintain machines and facilities
• You will have the opportunity to monitor and optimize production processes
• Mittlere Reife (general certificate of secondary education)
• Interest in technical processes
• Good proficiency in mathematics and physics
• Open and friendly towards other people
• You will receive practical training in a company with many years of experience in vocational training and will have a permanent contact person throughout the training period
