Position: Maintenance Technician - 12 hour Night Shift - $2,500 Sign on Bonus

Maintenance Technician - 12 hour Night Shift - $2,500 Sign on Bonus (Finance)

This role will provide a $2,500 Sign on bonus. We are currently hiring for 12 hour Night Shift schedule.

This position does not offer visa sponsorship.

The Maintenance Technicians are multi-skilled system experts in their assigned area, and are highly functional in multiple areas. The Technicians must also ensure efficiency, operational conformance, product quality and continuous improvement. Functions as a member of a maintenance area team which is directly responsible for the efficient maintenance of a group of assets to a baseline state. This includes: troubleshooting, repair and maintain specific machinery in the assigned area.

This job requires strong communication, interpersonal and team building skills to support site objectives.

What are we looking for?
  • Industrial Maintenance, Journeyman, or vocational schooling preferred. Must demonstrate experience with mechanical‑electrical skills
  • Some previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Lifting 25lbs.
  • Possess basic computer skills, knowledge of simple programs such as Excel and Word.
What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Ability to operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Takes corrective actions in solving problems to root cause level.
  • Able to assess equipment operating reliability and perform routine repairs, adjustments and malfunction troubleshooting.
  • Capable of troubleshooting, repairing and overhauling equipment within close tolerances.
  • Perform routine electrical and mechanical problem‑solving on process & packaging equipment.
  • Understand and implement calibration on defined equipment within area ownership.
  • Support Operations in equipment setup, changeover and training of operators in Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities.
  • Understands maintenance scheduling, planning, and inventory management.
  • Area owner for maintenance activities answering line calls for reactive maintenance on their shift.
  • Performing work orders as part of the planned schedule of Mx tasks and executing to those plans with proper close out of work orders
  • Performing work orders as part of reactive line calls and closure of work orders.
  • Effectively communicate with Operators, Peers, Supervisors and all levels of management on a daily basis.
  • Provide enthusiastic support where needed and complete other duties as assigned by Team Leader.
  • Peer to peer shift handoffs demonstrating a reliable member of the team, punctual attendance is required.
  • Adheres to all Mars safety & quality policies: GMP, Hygiene, LOTO, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, Electrical Worker Safety, Workplace Transport.
  • Able to operate a forklift.
  • Able to operate a computer and utilize the basic standard desktop systems using Computerized Maintenance Management System.
  • Capable skills in basic hand tools and certain shop equipment
  • Knowledge of and understanding to read and interpret - mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, and process & instrumentation diagrams.
  • Shows up with a "total ownership" mindset. Be willing to learn and engage in other functional groups to support them and your development.
  • Needs to show organization and proper care of assigned tools & tool boxes.
  • Demonstrated ability for communication, verbally and written, along with good listening and organizing skills.
  • Shows initiative in self and team development, is reliable, uses time wisely and is willing to accept change.
  • Assist in training of equipment and SOP standards documentation.
  • Work as part of the CVS team to ensure equipment and processes perform as designed.
  • Creation of preventative maintenance documents and schedules for equipment in areas as assigned.
  • Review spare parts and support in the sourcing of critical spares
  • Assist in the creation of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures for all equipment in areas as assigned.
