1St Shift Carey Warehouse - Forklift Driver

Carey Warehouse Supervisor

Performs routine duties required to store, record and ship component parts or finished goods to customers and other destinations. Supports other departments and performs other work‑related activities. Responsible for receiving products, scanning, placing materials, and supplying lines with needed materials.

• Compares identification and counts, weighs and measures items of outgoing shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders and records.
• Pulls, unpacks and examines outgoing shipments, records damaged items, reports damages and shortages.
• Pulls, unpacks and examines incoming shipments, records damaged items, reports damages and shortages.
• Supplies lines with needed materials.
• Operates forklifts, hand trucks, hoists, cranes or other material‑handling equipment as required.
• Receives orders from Production Control and is responsible for filling those orders for shipment.
• Maintains quality and quantity levels of assigned work, housekeeping, and safe‑work practices.
• Supports the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies.
• Overtime is required and may be requested on short notice.

• High School Degree, GED or higher.

• Forklift experience, Side Winder, Shipping, Receiving.

• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Good mathematical skills.
• Ability to lift loads up to forty (40) pounds.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
