Robotics and Welding Technician - Automotive Manufacturing
Pay Rate: $29.45 - $34.25 per hour
Location: Raymond, OH
We are seeking an experienced Robotics & Welding Technician to support advanced automotive body construction and metal fabrication operations. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in MIG, TIG, resistance welding, robotic programming, and vehicle body assembly systems
.
- Program and operate Fanuc Spot Tool robots with servo guns
- Utilize Fanuc ROBOGUIDE for robot simulation and process optimization
- Perform precision measurement using Faro Arm and Poly Works software
- Support vehicle body construction, metal fabrication, and welding processes
- Operate and modify designs in CATIA V5/V6
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Technical Trade School certification, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of related manufacturing or robotics experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including bending, standing, and reaching
