** Fixed Pitman Schedule

+ 2 days on / 2 days off

+ 3 days on / 2 days off

+ 12-hour shifts:  
** 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

** 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM*

* L-H Battery Company is seeking a safety-focused and dependable  
** Sit-Down Forklift Operator
** to join our warehouse and production team. This role is responsible for safely operating a sit-down forklift to move, load, unload, and stage battery products and materials throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate values safety, accuracy, and efficiency and takes pride in supporting daily warehouse operations.

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Operate a sit-down forklift to transport raw materials and finished goods

+ Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently

+ Stage materials for production and shipping

+ Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns

+ Ensure accurate inventory movement and assist with cycle counts

+ Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines

+ Maintain a clean and organized workspace

+ Support general warehouse duties as needed

** Qualifications*
* + High school diploma or GED preferred

+ Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)

+ 1-2 years of sit-down forklift experience preferred

+ Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Ability to stand and work for extended periods

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

+ Basic math and inventory skills

** Preferred Skills*
* + Experience handling heavy industrial products

+ Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures

+ Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)

** Work Environment*
* + Warehouse and production facility setting

+ Exposure to industrial equipment and materials

+ Overtime and shift work may be required based on production needs

** Compensation & Benefits*
* + $22.71 per hour
