• Examine lumber on chain conveyors or in racks for defects such as knots, stains, decay, splits, faulty edges, pitch pockets, wormholes, and defective milling.
• Grades lumber to ensure specified dimensions.
• Lead throughput for assigned production line.
• Control and operate computer system for assigned production line.
• Scales board footage and records results.
• Pulls graded lumber into unit form.
• Willing to learn/follow NHLA Lumber grading guidelines.
• Hand stack lumber as needed.

• Exhibit a high level of flexibility.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Team Player and Self-Starter.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the US full-time for anyone other than current employer.
