- Examine lumber on chain conveyors or in racks for defects such as knots, stains, decay, splits, faulty edges, pitch pockets, wormholes, and defective milling.
- Grades lumber to ensure specified dimensions.
- Lead throughput for assigned production line.
- Control and operate computer system for assigned production line.
- Scales board footage and records results.
- Pulls graded lumber into unit form.
- Willing to learn/follow NHLA Lumber grading guidelines.
- Hand stack lumber as needed.
- Exhibit a high level of flexibility.
- Excellent attendance record.
- Team Player and Self-Starter.
- Must have legal authorization to work in the US full-time for anyone other than current employer.
