Responsibilities and Duties:

* Receiving and shipping wood products (loading/unloading containers and flatbed trucks with forklift).

* Pulling and loading orders

* Inventory management (FIFO and cycle counts)

* Warehouse Upkeeping

Basic Qualifications:

* Safety-conscious attitude and experience.

* Must possess skills, knowledge, and experience in the field of inventory/warehouse

* Strong work ethic with the ability to be flexible in a fast-paced, changing environment.

* Must work well as a team member.

* Highly organized and proven communication skills.

* Operate all assigned material handling equipment

* Follow all NWH Standards for Lift Drivers

* Manage complex workflows supporting production and shipping

* Proper loading and unloading of inbound and outbound lumber

* Proper storing following FIFO guidelines

* Lead by example in safety, quality, and productivity

* Train, coach, and validate other operators

* Support audits, inventories, and CI initiatives

* Collaborating with supervisors on workflow planning

* Unload all OSP lumber off flatbeds

* Receiving all inbound OSP lumber

* Control GRN inventory

* Snow removal and driveway repair

* Load all containers with the shipper

* Load one or both stackers infeed decks

* Backup high lift driver as needed

* Must have excellent attendance

Preferred Qualifications:

* Forklift experience and or forklift safety certification

* 3 to 5 years' experience operating larger lift Trucks

* Forklift certification is preferred

* Inventory management or WMS experience
