Overview
Powder Coat Operators are responsible for line set up, scanning parts into the computer, hanging uncoated parts onto the conveyor, unloading the line, plugging parts, and inspecting coated parts. The unloader is responsible for packing parts as required (including wrapping or layering parts in a cage). The unloader will scan quantities, piece counts and weights into the computer, print labels and apply stickers.
Responsibilities- Follow safety and environmental procedures
- Come to work every day, on time as scheduled
- Proficient communication skills
- Understand and follow maintenance Lock Out Tag Out procedures when applicable
- Use computer to enter part information/inventory in ERP system
- Visually inspect all coated parts to ensure quality adherence
- Plug parts to fill holes
- Ability to use crane and hoist
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficient and basic math and computer skills
- LOTO awareness level training
