We are seeking a talented Quality Inspector to join our team of hardworking individuals at our Canal Winchester, OH manufacturing facility.

All employees must pass a pre‑employment drug screening. Driver's license and reliable transportation a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Shift: Day Shift- 7am-3:30pm

Pay Range: $22-$26/hr based on skills and experience

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies and finished products according to defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and electrical measurements
  • Accurately documents the results of the inspections and testing
  • Assist in the writing and updating of inspection procedures, checklists and summary reports
  • Reject components, subassemblies or finished products as required to meet quality standards
  • Support data entry, processing and reporting on non‑conforming material
  • Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate quality inspection and manufacturing functions
  • Perform preventative maintenance requirements as necessary
  • Active participation in a continuous improvement process and supportive of changes/processes that are made to improve overall quality impact and operations
  • Performs data collection and input for production metrics including safety, quality and delivery

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • 3+ years’ experience in relevant quality/manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read blueprint specifications including both ordinate and GD&T dimensioning callouts
  • Demonstrated ability to use basic measurement instruments including calipers (both digital and analog), micrometers, height gauges, multi‑meters, pin gauges, etc.
  • Ability to read and write workmanship standards regarding finish requirements, surface condition, etc.
