Responsible for handling daily issues of the workshop, manage personnel, production, quality, safety, cost, and statistics in workshop.
Responsibilities- Report to the Workshop Manager and accept assigned tasks.
- Debug and track production, provide technical support for difficult products.
- Increase yield, productivity and product quality.
- Improve and maintain workshop equipment.
- Receive and sign technical and quality documents.
- Conduct first‑piece inspection of tempering process.
- Update monthly board.
- Handle workshop production variety problems.
- Conduct half‑hour sampling checks of production glass appearance to prevent large‑quantity defects.
- Implement integrated management system documents conscientiously.
- Store wastes by categories.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Languages:
English and Mandarin.
Experience:
1–3 years manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Education:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- The employee is regularly required to stand for long periods, turn at the waist, reach, bend, squat and lift up to 50 pounds. Must pass static strength requirements (grip).
- Visual acuity includes:
- Near acuity – clarity of vision at 20 inches or less.
- Far acuity – clarity of vision at 20 feet or more.
- Depth perception – three‑dimensional vision and ability to judge distances.
- Color vision – ability to identify and distinguish colors.
- Field of vision – observing an area above, below or to the sides while eyes are fixed.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Safety equipment required: safety glasses, hearing protection and steel‑toed work boots.
Other Requirements- Mathematical skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
- Reasoning ability: solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
- Computer skills: knowledge of and familiarity with manufacturing software.
- Knowledge of tempering control system software operation, tempered glass forming principles and properties, parameter setting and adjustment, equipment maintenance and guidance for simple functions.
- Powered industrial truck certification (Propane, Gas, or Stand‑Up if applicable & forklift train the trainer certified).
- Office software application; communication, coordination and organization skills.
May be occasionally exposed to extreme heat. Noise level is usually moderate. Safety requirements: safety glasses and steel‑toed work boots.
