Located close to the Michigan/Ohio border, Toledo Tool & Die has served the people of both states since 1940. Toledo Tool & Die is adding Press Operators to the team to support continued growth. This is a full‑time position based in Pioneer, Ohio. We offer competitive wages, growth opportunities, and a clean, safe work environment.

Hours
  • 2nd shift – 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm (must be available to work overtime, daily, weekends and some holidays)

Key Responsibilities
  • Start machines and monitor operation to ensure proper processing, recording operational data and tracking material.
  • Operate or tend machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal material.
  • Load work pieces into machines.
  • Examine and inspect completed pieces for defects, sorting defective pieces by type.
  • Read production schedules to determine specifications and ensure compliance with customer dimensions and tolerances.
  • Verify and document dimensions of finished parts using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, and dial indicators.
  • Assist with coil and die changes, from simple to intermediate tasks.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
  • Stop production if unsafe parts or conditions appear.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or manager.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must satisfactorily complete pre‑employment screening (background check and drug screen).
  • Available to work overtime (daily, weekends, and holidays).
  • Experience operating large industrial equipment preferred.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
  • Dependable on time to support production startup.
  • Good physical stamina and coordination; able to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb for extended periods.
  • Can lift/push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Team‑player with good communication, basic math, and physical dexterity skills.
