Toledo Tool & Die is adding Press Operators to our team to support our continued growth. This is a full-time position based in Pioneer, Ohio. We offer competitive wages, growth opportunities, and a clean, safe work environment.
Hours for this position are typically:
- 1st Shift: 6:00am-2:00pm
- 2nd Shift: 2:00pm-10:00pm
- 3rd Shift: 10:00pm-6:00am
Must be available to work overtime (daily, weekends & some holidays).
What Toledo Tool & Die Can Offer You- Starting pay of $17.00/hour
- $1.50 shift premium for 2nd shift
- $1.00 shift premium for 3rd shift

- Start machines, monitor their operation to ensure proper processing, and record operational data for material tracking and piece counts.
- Operate or tend machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal material.
- Load work pieces into machines.
- Examine and inspect completed work pieces for defects and sort defective pieces by type of flaw.
- Read production schedules to determine specifications relative to materials and tolerances.
- Verify and document dimensions of finished parts using measuring instruments (calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, dial indicators).
- Assist in completing simple to intermediate tasks associated with coil and die changes.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
- Authority to stop production in the event unsafe parts or conditions appear.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor and/or Manager.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete pre-employment screening (background check and drug screen).
- Identified candidates must be able to work overtime (daily, weekends and holidays).
- Experience operating large industrial equipment is preferred.
- Must be able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
- Report to work on time to support production startup.
- Possess good physical stamina and coordination.
- Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or climb for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift/push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.
- Work as a team with good communication and basic math skills.
