Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Quality Assurance Lead to join our Spring Meadow Farms team in Rossburg.

SHIFT

HOURS:

Monday through Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

STARTING HOURLY RATE: $19.90-$23.45 (dependent upon experience) with a potential increase after 90 days.

ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided. Job functions include:

• Overseeing the quality department and ensuring that all products are being processed according to the company HACCP plan for Safety and wholesomeness and meets quality specifications of the customer and/or non-USDA guidelines.
• Ensuring established quality policies and procedures are being followed in accordance with corporate guidelines
• Reducing food safety risks by ensuring eggs are stored and processed according to the requirements of the HACCP Plan and the SQF system.
• Responsible for documentation requirements related to compliance with egg processing plants’ food safety and quality systems.
• Implementing controls when processes or products do not meet customer specifications or USDA requirements.

• Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma.
• Must have reading, writing and basic computer stills as well as strong verbal and written communication stills.
• Two years of quality experience or experience in an egg processing facility is highly preferred.
• Must be willing to obtain training for SQT Systems for Food Safety and Quality.
