Location: Fort Loramie

Pay range: $50,304 - $71,863

Job Responsibilities
  • Produce quality welded components to specification.
  • Weld components as required by internal or customer specifications.
  • Deburr and inspect welds to assure conformance to specification.
  • Capable of welding any type of material (SST, 4140, aluminum, CRS) and capable of MIG and TIG on all materials.
  • Understand common weld symbols.
  • Set up and safely operate saw and saw accessories.
  • Run a belt sander, grinder, and other hand tools.
  • Operate forklift and crane.
  • Utilize torch, plasma cutter and attachments.
  • Read, understand, and weld to blueprints.
  • Prepare material for welding (saw, grind, torch, or sandblast).
  • Design and fabricate work-holding fixtures.
  • Follow production schedule.
  • Work well with manufacturing and management personnel.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
  • Travel may be required.
Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Five or more years of welding experience preferred.
  • Experience utilizing hand tools and forklifts preferred.
  • Commitment to company values.
  • Knowledge of OSHA & EPA laws and regulations, and company’s plant rules and regulations pertaining to this job.
  • Work safely in an environmentally friendly manner and observe all company EHS procedures.
  • Know that company EHS procedures are located on the ISO drive.
  • Immediately notify supervisor of any safety hazard, equipment not operating correctly, or any questions regarding EHS procedures.
  • Attend required EHS training.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
  • Lift up to approximately 60 lbs.
  • Repetition with activity.
  • Work environment noise level usually moderate.
