Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:
Operate roll forming machinery with precision to produce metal products that meet the specific requirements detailed in work orders, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
Monitor machine performance by consistently checking gauges, dials, and other indicators, swiftly identifying and resolving any operational issues to maintain continuous production flow.
Implement regular maintenance routines to guarantee the optimal performance of manufacturing machinery, thereby preventing production interruptions and extending machine longevity.
Optimize material usage by strategically reducing non-chargeable waste, fostering a cost-effective production environment that ensures maximum material utilization.
Accurately document material usage and completed tasks, ensuring meticulous record-keeping for material management and providing detailed information for billing and inventory purposes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience:
1-2 years of relevant experience preferred; training is available for entry-level candidates.
Technical Proficiencies:
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine operating errors.
Proficient knowledge of machine operations, including specifications necessary to maintain operational efficiency.
Basic math skills are essential for accurate inventory counting.
Ability to read and interpret work orders and communicate effectively with team members.
Proficiency in English for effective verbal and written communication.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is considered an advantage.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
Experience in sheet metal fabrication or installation preferred.
Physical Requirements:
