• Lead and perform in‑line audits and inspections of plastic components, ensuring adherence to visual appearance, dimensional and functional quality standards.
• Review and validate first‑article inspections, set‑up approvals, and line clearances.
• Identify and escape defects and reoccurring defects within the product, branding and packaging.
• Support root cause analysis, problem solving techniques and corrective / preventive actions.
• Ability to communicate and interpret quality documentation, such as work instructions, product specifications and safety rules.
• Support and facilitate consistent application of inspection criteria within the quality department.
• Lead internal audits of production processes, packaging, labeling, traceability and documentation as part of QMS requirements.
• Serve as liaison between production and quality departments, facilitating effective communication on quality‑related matters.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and organization.
• May be required to perform additional tasks within the scope of the role to meet business needs, provided such tasks are consistent with the employee’s skills and training.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 – 3 years of quality inspection experience, preferred in a plastics manufacturing environment (i.e. injection molding, extrusion, thermoforming).

Must be physically capable of performing job related tasks and job duties.

• This position requires long periods of standing and walking.
