Job Overview

Winzeler Manufacturing Co. is a family-owned precision metal stamping and manufacturing company that has called Montpelier, Ohio home for over 100 years. We are currently looking for a Swiss-Style CNC Operator/Technician to join our team. This person would be responsible for:
Responsibilities- Operate a Swiss-style CNC lathe to create parts for the medical industry.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
- Program CNC machines using Part Master or other relevant software for optimal performance.
- Conduct regular quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning and longevity.
- Utilize hand tools and shop-level math skills for accurate measurements and adjustments during fabrication processes.
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
- Potentially be an integral part of expanding our Swiss lathe department.
- Proficient in CNC programming, including experience with CAM programming or similar.
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
- Experience operating a Swiss-style CNC lathe or other CNC lathe types.
- Experience in a metal forming production facility.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high standards of quality control.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for an 8‑hour shift, move around the Swiss lathe machine, and load material into the machine.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, notably Excel.
Pay is commensurate with experience and skillset.
Job Type: Full‑time
