Assembler- Covington Turbine

Basic Function

• Assembles parts at workstations per work instructions and on the job training.
• Tests pumps and accessories to meet product specifications.
• Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
• Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary.

• Assemble parts per prints, work instructions, and on the job training.
• Use basic hand tools and air tools to assemble products.
• Perform specified electrical and performance tests on subassemblies and assembled product.
• Assist on paint line as needed.
• Complete key performance indicators (KPIs) for performance measurement.
• Work with other people in a team environment.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company policies.
• Other duties as signed.

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Stable work history.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Mechanical / electrical aptitude preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds frequently.
