This position is responsible to supply core material to all external and in‑house customers in a safe and timely manner with as little cost as possible. Identify, receive, locate, count, and pull core. Must be able to identify and retain to memory part numbers and core products. Must have the ability to operate hand tools, air tools, and read gauges. May be required to obtain forklift license.

This position offers- Starting pay of $19.55/hr up to top pay of $27.59/hr.

What You Drive at DTNA- Perform physically demanding manufacturing duties including repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, use of machinery, and following standardized work procedures.
- Actively participate in improving work area in terms of safety, quality, attendance, productivity, suggestion activities, housekeeping, and throughput.
- Use computer systems to access company data associated with the assembly process, utilize drawings, bills of materials and specification sheets in both electronic and hard copy.
- Operate hand tools and small power tools in a safe and nondestructive manner.
- May be required to load/unload shipments (forklift license required).
- Identify, receive, locate, count, pull core.
- Operate wrenches, air tools, and gauges.
- Record component parts by learning identification numbers.
- Properly package, label, and distribute to proper location.
- Ship core that is required to complete different processes throughout the plant or returned for core credit.
- Knowledge of computers, tablets, printers, and scanners.
- Operate hoist, hand tools, forklift, hand truck, and picker.
- Adhere to established work rotation plan.
- Complete training matrix for each rotation position.
- Read and understand Work Station Instructions.
- Other tasks and/or duties as requested.
- Capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power tools.
- Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Understanding of all types of applicable measuring equipment for part validation.
- Work in a repetitive motion environment.
- Lift up to 50 lbs frequently (option to use hoist).
- Read, understand and complete documentation.
- Willingness to cross‑train throughout the area.
- Ability to collaborate with a team and work independently.
- Work overtime when necessary.
- Established satisfactory attendance record and performance rating.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures.
- Cross train on other jobs as required.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing (automotive/trucking) environment.
- Previous mechanical experience.
- High School Diploma / GED preferred and further college education a plus.
This position is open to applicants who can work in (or relocate to) Byesville, OH US. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
