Job Responsibilities
- Perform physically demanding manufacturing duties including repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, use of machinery, and following standardized work procedures.
- Log, disassemble, and ensure the quality of the head cores in a safe & timely manner.
- Actively participate in improving the work area in terms of safety, quality, attendance, productivity, suggestion activities, housekeeping, and throughput.
- Disassemble head components for heavy‑duty trucks.
- Use computer systems to access company data associated with the assembly process, utilize drawings, bills of materials and specification sheets in both electronic and hard copy.
- Operate the following tools and equipment: computers, hoists, torches, pallet jacks, presses, hand tools, air tools & lifting fixtures.
- Capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power tools.
- Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Must maintain a clean work area, meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures.
- Cross train on other jobs as required.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- High School Diploma / GED preferred; further college education a plus.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing (automotive/trucking) environment or mechanical experience is a plus.
Starting pay of $18.40/hr, up to a top pay of $25.97/hr quarterly gain sharing bonus potential and additional shift differential for off‑shifts.
