Inventory Control Support
This position is responsible for support to the inventory control process for Honey Baked Ham.
Essential functions include:
- Daily and weekly cycle counts
- Physically count trailers and maintain trailer log
- Monitor expiring/expired goods, report on and dispose of them in a timely manner
- Assist in maintaining damaged goods list
- Work in the Packaging department when needed
This position has no direct reports.
Experience requirements:
- At least 1 year of Inventory Control
- Experience in a food processing environment (Optional but preferred)
Education requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
Physical demands:
There is a requirement to lift or handle moderate-weight material and/or equipment (up to 60 pounds).
Work environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is periodically exposed to conditions common to food processing including noisy environments and cold temperatures.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
