Maintenance Leader
The maintenance leader of KHMS is responsible for managing the maintenance program in the assigned area to ensure the delivery and closure of work orders with the aim of keeping equipment in optimal operating conditions to avoid production process stoppages, ensuring the availability of process equipment by detecting and correcting faults, as well as providing support and assistance to the Engineering, Projects, Maintenance, and Production department.
Activities:
• Provides management and leadership to deliver commercial results and operational improvements.
• Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance needs of their assigned area.
• Achieves safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, customer service, cost, and employee engagement objectives through individual and team contributions.
• Performs all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and preventive maintenance on various high-speed packaging machines.
• Analyzes for problem-solving.
• Reads electrical prints and performs basic wiring up to 480 volts.
• Prioritizes afternoon and morning activities with the weekly schedule.
• Understands coaching leadership centered on principles and humble questioning.
• Advises and qualifies aspects of employee activities within the process.
• Organizes and executes tasks as indicated by the process owner.
• Participates actively in the establishment/implementation of team objectives to ensure we are a high-quality and low-cost producer.
• Generates maintenance plans for the area.
• Provides direction, leadership, development, and support to direct subordinates through empowerment, teamwork, work assignments, and continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
• Promotes strong labor and employee relations within the department by developing and maintaining an effective organization with qualified personnel.
• Develops, promotes, and supports continuous improvement and other cross-functional initiatives.
• Strives to maximize plant/department efficiency by presenting and implementing process improvements.
• Ensures the quality of our products and our workplace by following all procedures and guidelines.
• Complies with all established BPM, HACCP and FSSC
22000 guidelines, cleaning responsibilities, and QRMP and Golden Rules operational procedures.
Requirements:
Mechanical, Automation, or related engineering. Solid knowledge in six Sigma, lean manufacturing. Solid knowledge in SAP and Office. Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role.
