Our waste treatment site in Saran (45) is looking for a crane operator (H/F) responsible for managing the waste reception pit and transporting waste to incineration furnaces.
Reporting to our Director of Industrial Unit and under the responsibility of our shift supervisors, your main duties will include:
- Receiving and checking the nature of waste at the pit
- Operating the overhead cranes
- Performing first-level maintenance operations
- Ensuring the supply of waste to the furnaces (OM, refuse, Activity and Care Waste) while paying particular attention to the mixing to maintain stable furnace operation
- Ensuring that the pit can continuously receive more waste (stacking, mixing) to facilitate the reception of OM bins
- Checking the operation of equipment in high-risk areas (video system)
- Participating in crane operations at the request of shift supervisors
- Informing shift supervisors of operating parameters and any incidents in the absence of the control room (radio device)
- Maintaining the cleanliness of premises and equipment (control room, OM pit, docks)
- Ensuring personal and others' safety by being particularly attentive to risks arising from the circulation of vehicles and machinery
Shift work in 3x8; working on holidays and Sundays
QualificationsLevel of Bac / Bac pro, ideally with experience in a similar environment.
Ideally, you have knowledge of crane operation and grapple use.
You possess communication skills, some autonomy, and are able to alert in case of malfunctions. You are proficient with computer tools and enjoy working in a team.
