Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Runs power/air tools and utilizes drivers/mallets, on a precision basis for the purpose of building window systems.
Maintains a clean work area. Identifies mechanical and/or quality problems to proper department. Performs all job functions adhering to established safety standards and always maintains safe practices. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Any combination of education is equivalent to a high school diploma. Ability to effectively read and communicate both orally and in writing. Knowledge of basic mathematics and capacity to accurately read measuring devices (i.e. tape measure, calipers, etc) and to ensure all parts conform to specifications. Knowledge of blueprint reading with ability to identify reference marks for purposes of maintaining accurate parts or modifying those that may not meet the specified standards.
Knowledge of part numbers as detailed in blueprints. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds, twenty-five (25) to thirty (30) times per day. Ability to work with a variety of tools.
