Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician - Up to $50/hr!
This 3rd shift Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician role focuses on troubleshooting and maintaining advanced automation equipment, including Allen Bradley PLCs and Fanuc robotics, within an automotive manufacturing environment. You will work primarily with 480V electrical systems, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics to ensure equipment reliability and uptime through both preventative and reactive maintenance.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Allen Bradley PLC-controlled equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Troubleshoot and maintain Fanuc robotic systems to minimize downtime and support continuous production.
- Work safely with 480V electrical systems, including identifying and resolving electrical faults and issues.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair motors, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems as needed.
- Calibrate and test equipment to ensure optimal performance and adherence to production specifications.
- Perform general preventative maintenance on production machinery and support systems according to established schedules.
- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests to restore equipment to service in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot and repair control circuits and related components to maintain reliable machine operation.
- Inspect, test, and adjust photo eye sensors and other sensing devices to ensure accurate detection and operation.
- Support manufacturing operations by maintaining equipment used in automotive production processes.
- Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and production staff to identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and adjustments in accordance with site procedures.
- Proven experience in manufacturing maintenance within an industrial or automotive production environment.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining Fanuc robotics.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including work on 480V electrical systems.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic repair and maintenance.
- Ability to perform both preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing control circuits.
- Ability to troubleshoot and adjust photo eye sensors and similar sensing devices.
- Comfort working on a 3rd shift schedule from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on a 2-2-3 shift pattern, including every other weekend.
- Ability to work safely in a large industrial manufacturing facility with varying temperatures.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in automotive manufacturing environments.
- Experience with welding and fabricating to support equipment repair and modification.
- Experience with high-end electrical systems and advanced industrial controls.
- Additional experience in robotics troubleshooting and optimization.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as schematics and equipment manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.

The role is based in a large glass manufacturing facility that operates on a 3rd shift schedule from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. using a 2-2-3 shift pattern.
