Staff Management | SMX is now hiring a Production Team Leader who would like to grow with our 2nd shift Production Team at Mid-Ohio, located in Crestline, OH. If you have previous Production Quality or Team Leader Experience, and would like to grow into Supervision, we are the company for you!

** Monday - Friday, 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm (some overtime required on the weekends)

Pay Rate: $20.23 - $22.34 / hour

Duties:

+ Attend the Level 1 meeting and obtain the run sheet and direction from the supervisor.

+ Take inventory of all materials needed on the line.

+ Take Attendance of the associates and properly position each associate on each line.

+ Ensure Each Team Member Has Appropriate PPE, attire, phones away, etc.

+ Keep the line(s) running safely, producing quality product(s)

+ Assist in training associates on the production lines and new inspectors.

+ Ensure associates are following Standard Work Procedures.

+ Conduct quality checks and first piece inspections.

+ Perform primer thickness checks & review the Urethane Test Samples.

+ Responsible for maintaining the Hold system.

+ Ensure proper rework/sorting is being completed.

+ Ensure associates come back from breaks/lunches and that production begins on time.

+ Track and report downtime properly

+ Conduct Changeovers

+ Ensure that the lines are up to 5S standards at the end of the shift

Requirements:
Background Check, Drug Test, Stand for Shift Duration, Must be at least 18 years old.

Able to Lift 40 pounds., required education:
No Education Requirement.

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $20.23 - $22.34 per hour.  This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
