About the Site

Anduril has selected Columbus, Ohio for its first hyperscale manufacturing facility, Arsenal‑1. The facility will produce autonomous systems and weapons for the United States and its allies.

About the Team

The Launch Team will set the standard for building the future at Arsenal‑1 in Ashville, Ohio. Team members will train at Anduril headquarters in Costa Mesa, California for 3 months before returning to Ohio.

About the Role

We are looking for a Production Technician to join our rapidly growing team in Ashville, Ohio. The role involves assembly and integration of mechanical and/or electrical components. Candidates should be highly motivated, team‑orientated, detail‑oriented, and able to work with minimal oversight in a fast‑paced environment.

This role requires relocation to Costa Mesa for a 3‑month training program. Housing, transportation, and related needs will be provided during the training period.

What You’ll Do
  • Follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and instructions to assemble products or systems
  • Use various hand tools and power tools to assemble components
  • Combine subsystems or components into a larger, functioning system
  • Ensure compatibility and proper communication between integrated components
  • Maintain detailed records of assembly processes, test results, and any issues encountered
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures in the workplace
  • Possibility for overtime and weekend shifts as needed
Required Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting (aerospace, electronics, or medical industry preferred) performing mechanical and/or electrical assemblies
  • Proficient with common hand tools and power tools such as pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, depth micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, pressure gauges, multimeters, test boxes, or specialized test equipment
  • Proficient with computer use (standard browser, word processing applications)
  • Able to read wiring diagrams and follow assembly instructions
  • Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high‑paced, challenging work environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbatim and written with engineering and production teams
  • U.S. Citizen Required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with aircraft or ground systems fabrication, repair, assembly, and operation including structural fabrication, integration, composites fabrication, and avionics build/integration/test
  • Mechanical assembly of complex electro‑mechanical assemblies, wire harnesses, test racks, junction boxes, and hand soldering
  • Validation and testing of electronic components using multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and test racks
  • Common airframe construction techniques such as rivets, fasteners, nut plates, etc.
  • Hands‑on experience with kits, models, or experimental aircraft builds
  • Electronic box assembly troubleshooting and detailed issue ticket writing
  • Functional checkouts and diagnostics during testing
  • Testing and running RF systems
  • Troubleshooting extensively
  • Firmware loading onto integrated digital systems
  • Running Lab View scripts
  • PCBA integration and troubleshooting
  • Basic understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles
  • Assistance with kitting products as needed
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Engineering, Math, Hard Science, Business, etc.)
  • Holder of an Airframe and Powerplant license or similar training
  • Forklift certification
US Hourly Range

$26 – $38 USD
