Job Title: Tempering Pre‑Assembly Assistant Manager
Job Summary: Seeking driven leader for engaging and challenging but rewarding role.
Assist in managing Tempering Pre‑Assembly’s 4 workshops (FBTA+B, EPBT & GT). Implement, inspect, and improve the production process, in all aspects of quality control, safety, manpower, process, equipment, 5S, delivery, and cost. Conserves manager's time and promotes the corporate image by representing the manager internally and externally; working as a liaison between the manager, key executives, and employees.
Job Functions- Report to Tempering Pre‑Assembly Manager.
- Proactive problem solving, maintaining & promoting standardized work in the factory.
- Responsible for plant safety issues. Guiding and supervising safety management by supervisors (including technical supervisors). Ensuring personal, production, equipment, and environmental safety.
- Be responsible for audit matters, including quality system audit, company internal audit, customer audit, layered process audit, and others as assigned by leadership. Organize plant members to establish and implement corrective and preventive measures based on plant requirement.
- Be responsible for planning, implementation, supervision and management of 5s and equipment TPM activities.
- Be responsible for personnel relationship management. Coordinate and communicate with employees to build a team spirit of unity, tolerance, respect and dedication (5
Star Teams/Kanban). - Organize analysis of quality complaint & concerns. Improve product quality by supervising implementation of countermeasures.
- Organize and handle abnormal production issues.
- Participate in the operational control and supervision of environmental occupational health and safety, supervise the implementation of the classified collection and management of factory waste, and implement the waste reduction programs for water, electricity, gas and other resources and energy.
- Assist the plant manager to organize regular management meetings to solve the problems of equipment, process and quality in production, and continuous improvement.
- Assist the plant manager in coordinating with HR department of personnel arrangement and evaluate subordinate management team on regular basis.
- Manage factory KPIs by controlling labor productivity, yield, injuries, CIP projects, turnover, FTT, on‑time delivery, OT & process compliance.
- Seriously implement the relevant documents of the comprehensive management system.

Languages spoken commonly in the workplace are English and Mandarin. Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers.
- 1 to 3 years manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or above
- Regularly required to stand for long periods. Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip)
