Role OverviewResponsible for the operations of the extrusion blow molding wheel and all downstream equipment as needed.

- Meet and maintain all customer quality standards and Amcor’s standards.
- Meet daily production goals and departmental objectives as directed.
- Clean all assigned work areas after completion of the required work, return all tools to proper storage at the end of the shift, and report any malfunctioning equipment. Apply Good Manufacturing Practices and report daily on the Master Cleaning Schedule.
- Direct non‑conforming parts to the appropriate reprocess area.
- Maintain standard production objectives through proper machine operation and accurate production record‑keeping. Communicate production information at shift change.
- Maintain proper radio etiquette when using company radios, PA system and/or phone for business use only.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Operate the extrusion blow molding wheel and downstream equipment according to machine (product) standard.
- Work at different workstations as production needs require.
- Complete required training in a timely manner, including compliance, team skills, and structured OJT, and assist in the training of coworkers.
- Perform minor preventive maintenance on assigned wheel and downstream production equipment as required.
- Troubleshoot and repair the wheel and downstream equipment.
- Operate, adjust, and repair the wheel and downstream equipment to meet customer specifications.
- Perform required quality checks.
- Clear jams on the wheel and downstream equipment.
- Replace bottles online from blow‑off.
- Maintain the detabber, Alps, spin trimmer, autopacker, box machine and insertor.
- Update tier boards with downstream line performance information.
- Enter downtime information.
- Conduct inspections of in‑process materials and products; notify management when product does not meet quality standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to read, write and understand English.
- Basic and/or advanced operation of extrusion blow molding equipment (1 year experience minimum).
- Experience with minor mechanical repairs.
- Experience performing minor troubleshooting and programming.
- Experience with root‑cause analysis and tooling breakage/damage.
Nights 6:50 pm – 7 am on a 2/2/3 schedule.
CompensationStarting wage $25.95 /hr with $1 /hr shift premium. Must be able to work 12‑hour shifts.
RequirementsMust have experience working with basic hand tools, troubleshooting, manufacturing experience, mechanical aptitude, forklift operation, reliable transportation, and the ability to work overtime and meet the physical demands of the position.
