We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components according to specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding techniques, sheet metal work, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and precision of our products while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components using various welding techniques.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and joining materials.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable codes and standards for quality assurance.
- Perform inspections of completed work to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication and ductwork assembly is preferred.
- Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards relevant to welding and fabrication processes.
- Ability to operate power tools safely, including saws, grinders, and drills.
- Attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
