** What You’ll Do
** As a Tool & Die Apprentice, you’ll be part of our team located in Willard, OH. You’ll get to:  Responsibilities / Authority:
* Must abide by the SBD Apprenticeship expectations
* Attend apprenticeship classes
* Attend required internal and/or external safety classes and follow all safety rules
* Repair and recondition existing tools, fixtures, and dies as assigned
* Perform machine work on components for new tools, fixtures, and dies as required
* Operate lift trucks, cranes, welders, and other equipment to perform Tool Room duties
* Maintain quality and production standards following all ISO and company procedures
* Recognize concerns and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
* Perform Tool Room tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Group Leader

State-approved Tool & Die Apprentice card or equivalent experience.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Successfully pass the apprenticeship entry exam
• Must have a valid lift truck operator license or successfully complete lift truck training
• Furnish required tools
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic understanding of machining, stamping, fabrication, and assembly operations
