Fabricator – 1st Shift

Make Your Mark. Shape Your Future. Join our team of fabricators at Stanley Black & Decker in Willard, Ohio, working on iconic brands such as DEWALT, CRAFTSMAN, STANLEY, BLACK+DECKER, and IRWIN.

• Complete fabrication production activities, including hanging lines and inspecting parts.
• Safely operate necessary equipment, including weld cells.
• Use appropriate PPE: arm guards, face shields, and Kevlar aprons (while grinding).
• Conduct visual inspections of in‑process and finished welded products.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to meet 6S standards.
• Follow quality practices per ISO work instructions.
• Set up work stations as needed.
• Report safety or quality issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to all SBD policies, procedures, safety rules, and regulations.
• Identify concerns and provide insights for continuous improvement opportunities.
• Perform other production duties as assigned by the Supervisor or designee.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Manual dexterity; ability to use hand tools and equipment as needed.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, including ISO work instructions.
• Capacity to operate in a fast‑paced work environment.
• Willingness to learn facility safety rules and regulations.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to interact with associates throughout the facility.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, and periodically lift up to 40 lbs for a minimum of eight hours daily.
• Previous fabrication and/or light industrial experience is a plus.
• Availability to work overtime as needed.
