Fabrication Technician

Location: Raymond

Our client, an innovative automotive manufacturing organization, is seeking a Fabrication Technician to join their team. As a Fabrication Technician, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting vehicle assembly and fabrication processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, a willingness to learn, and a strong attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

* ** Shift: 1st with some OT*
* ** What's the Job?*
* + Perform MIG/TIG welding on prototype vehicle structures and components following engineering drawings and specifications

+ Support fabrication, fit-up, and structural modifications to ensure quality and compliance

+ Inspect weld quality and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards

+ Work closely with engineering and build teams to address issues and implement improvements

+ Maintain attention to detail and safety compliance throughout all tasks

** What's Needed?*
* + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

+ Prior welding experience preferred, especially in automotive or similar industries

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards

+ Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment

+ Physical ability to stand, bend, lift components, and work in/around vehicles for extended periods
