Electrical Wirer - 1st Shift

Electrical Wirer

Milacron is looking for an Electrical Wirer to join our team in Batavia, OH. In this position, you will be responsible for building and wiring panels for machines, equipment and their subassemblies following layouts, electrical circuits, and other written and verbal specifications.

Work You'll Do:

• Read, comprehend, and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Set the department / area standards in housekeeping, attendance, and teamwork by example.
• Communicate any discrepancies or errors on prints, materials list etc.
• Recognize problems during assembly, take appropriate corrective action to resolve them.
• Produce quality work in a time frame that meets the expectation of the Team/Group Leads.
• Complete Lockout / Tag out training using all required items when performing Lockout.
• Work safely and in an environmentally responsible manner.
• Recognize problems with electrical designs and parts, take appropriate corrective action to resolve them.
• Recommend improvements for work area, products, and processes.
• Perform prototype work with limited Engineering and minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent knowledge (basic math, reading, and writing)
• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred
• 3+ years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Basic computer skills
